BASICS TO BUILD Nov 15th/16th

This two-day workshop is a welcoming gateway into the world of woodworking. You’ll lay down a solid foundation that builds your confidence and gives you the skills to start creating your own projects.By the end of the two days, you’ll know how to choose timber, plan a project, make a Cutting List, and use a standard joining technique to fix wood together securely and accurately with screws.
Power tools are taught in a way that demystifies any fears you might have about woodworking and using tools. The pace is steady and thoughtful, helping you absorb what you’re learning and feel more at home with each new tool. It’s not just about learning—it’s about discovering what you’re capable of.
You’ll be using a great set of tools to build your project, including measuring and marking tools, a try square, a portable drill (with drill and driver bits)—and yes, you’ll finally get to know your way around a drill properly—plus a drill press, a sliding mitre saw, and clamps. You’ll also have the opportunity to experience hand plane, a nail gun, a metal stamp set, and a pyrography burner—tools that add a little extra magic.

$250 Deposit is payable at time of booking.The balance of $445 will payable at the workshop.
